Murilo Huff Gives R$50 'Allowance' to Marília Mendonça's Son to Teach Financial Education

oglobo3 September 2026 at 11:56

Murilo Huff has been teaching financial education to his six-year-old son Léo, born from his relationship with singer Marília Mendonça, who died in an airplane crash in November 2021. The singer revealed that he tries to convey to the boy the notion that money is not an unlimited resource, through small tasks and everyday situations. The subject was discussed during his appearance on "Tem Base Podcast."

Murilo's concern is even greater because Léo will grow up surrounded by the wealth built by him and his mother. The singer recognizes that his son was born into a financial reality very different from the one he knew in childhood. Nevertheless, Murilo says he wants to prepare him to manage what he will receive in the future.

At the farm, Murilo created a kind of task-based allowance for his son. Léo receives R$50 when he completes certain activities. The singer explained that his son needs to learn even more about the value of money, as "it's not infinite," and that he needs good guidance to be able to manage all of this and make the right decisions in life.
