Ukraine launched a massive drone attack against Russia during the night, using a total of 416 drones in a single night. This was one of the largest drone attacks ever recorded in the conflict between the two countries.
According to Russian authorities, the drones were intercepted over 15 Russian regions, including occupied Crimea and the Black Sea. Moscow reported that its air defense systems managed to neutralize most of the devices before they reached their targets.
The attack managed to reach the gates of Moscow, representing a significant escalation in the war that has been ongoing for more than two years. The Russian capital was directly threatened by this massive wave of Ukrainian drones.
