Formula 1 arrives at Monza this weekend; check schedule and where to watch

Formula 1 lands in Italy this weekend, with the Monza National Autodrome hosting the next stage of the season. The event features major local highlights, including Kimi Antonelli, from Mercedes, who leads the Drivers' World Championship, and Ferrari, the most traditional motorsport team, which occupies second place in the Constructors' World Championship.

McLaren, however, emerges as a threat to the Italians, after securing two consecutive wins in the season with current champion, British driver Lando Norris. The British team demonstrated potential to complicate the performance of the local teams at the Monza circuit.

The schedule at Monza National Autodrome begins on Friday with two free practice sessions. The third free practice and qualifying take place on Saturday, while the race is scheduled for Sunday.

All times are in Brasília time. Free practice 1 is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 AM, followed by free practice 2 at 11 AM. On Saturday, the third free practice takes place at 7:30 AM and qualifying at 11 AM. All sessions will be broadcast on SporTV3, Globoplay, and F1TV PRO.
