Rock in Rio started this Friday (4) full of novelties, including the Comfort Zone, a new space that resembles a VIP track to watch the field performances. The area was announced in May, before the pre-sale opening, with values well above those of the traditional ticket.
While the regular ticket cost R$ 870, the Comfort Zone was R$ 1,950 (full) and R$ 975 (half). The space allows exclusive access to the front stage of the Mundo stage, with a capacity of 674 square meters for two thousand people, in addition to exclusive bars and bathrooms.
The Comfort Zone directly refers to Lolla Comfort, recently inaugurated at Lollapalooza, another festival organized by Rock World, the company that manages Rock in Rio. The vice president of Rock World, Roberta Medina, defended the area as a space of inclusion.
