The Miranda do Corvo Municipal Council invested more than 2,200 euros in the acquisition of 40 car seats and 20 'baby' seats to equip the municipal buses used in school transport in the municipality.
This measure responds to concerns raised by parents and guardians during meetings held in all schools of the municipality. The municipal council highlighted that the proximity process with the educational community allowed for the collection of suggestions and the identification of needs related to school transport.
The new equipment is intended for the municipal buses used daily in the transport of students and aims to improve the conditions of safety, protection and comfort of children.
The investment is part of a broader strategy to improve conditions associated with education and family support services, reinforcing the municipal council's commitment to placing children and families at the center of its priorities.
