The Serralves Foundation hosts the second edition of the "Porto Urban Greening Biennial'26", which has the theme "Cultivating Communities". The event is organized by the faculty members of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) Cláudia Fernandes and Isabel Silva. The initiative brings together diverse audiences, including public decision-makers, technicians, companies, students and citizens interested in the theme of urban vegetation. The event aims to promote discussion and reflection on the role of vegetation and urban green spaces in the context of communities.
