The municipality of Arcos de Valdevez, led by mayor Olegário Gonçalves, signed a protocol with the local delegation of the Red Cross to support the renovation works of the Headquarters Building and the reception space for people in vulnerable situations. This support falls within the municipal policy of proximity with the institutions of the Municipality, strengthening partnerships to ensure better responses to the population.
In addition to financial participation, the municipality will provide technical and administrative support for the execution of the works. The municipal funds complement the funds raised by the Association Friends of Vale EUA, allowing the complete execution of the renovation works.
The protocol was signed in the presence of the vice-mayor of the municipality, Emília Cerdeira, the president of the Red Cross Delegation, Pedro Silva, members of the Association Friends of Vale EUA and representatives of the company responsible for the renovation works.
