Miguel Oliveira extended his contract with BMW for the 2027 season and following years, extending a partnership that promises to be long-term. The Portuguese rider expressed optimism about the future, stating he believes the best is yet to come in his career.

The 29-year-old rider made his debut in the premier class of the World Superbike Championship this year, a competition that represents a new challenge in his sporting trajectory after stints in MotoGP.

The debut season with BMW was marked by positive results, including four podiums, which demonstrated the Portuguese rider's ability to adapt to the new bike and championship.

However, sporting performance was affected by a shoulder injury that limited Oliveira's participation in some races, creating additional obstacles in a season of adaptation to a new category and structure.
