Eborense Pedro dos Santos Reaches the Semi-Finals of the Mili Dueli World Poetry Championship

Portuguese poet Pedro dos Santos, from Évora, reached the semi-finals of the 2025/2026 Mili Dueli World Poetry Championship, an international competition bringing together poets representing different countries from all continents. His performance allowed him to accumulate a total of 85 points for the literary work developed throughout the competition.

Pedro dos Santos represents Portugal in this competition, together with poet Nero. Both now advance to the semi-finals, seeking to continue elevating the name of Portuguese poetry on the world stage and establish it among the best in the world.

The evaluation of the poets was conducted through a process involving an international jury, the championship organizers, and partially also public voting. Pedro dos Santos warmly thanked everyone for the affection and support received during the voting phase.

Reaching the semi-finals constitutes significant recognition of the work developed by the poet from Évora, allowing him to continue representing Portugal at one of the most advanced stages of the world poetry championship.
