Lamas de Orelhão will host on September 13 the first edition of the Flavors & Knowledge Fair – Ancient Traditions, an initiative dedicated to valuing the village's gastronomy, culture, and rural memories. The event was organized to establish itself as an encounter with the roots and cultural heritage of the territory.
Throughout the day, the public will be able to discover local products at the Flavors Market and travel back in time at the Knowledge Village, where ancient trades and different aspects of daily life from past generations will be recreated. The program also includes traditional games, a scavenger hunt for the legend of Santa Comba and King D'Orelhão, religious celebration with procession, and a community lunch.
Musical and folk entertainment will be provided by the Rancho Folclórico de Santiago and the Traditional Instruments Group INSPIRASOM, in a day designed to bring the community together and preserve traditions that continue to define the identity of Lamas de Orelhão.
