Neguinho da Beija-Flor, official performer of Beija-Flor de Nilópolis for 50 years, is debuting a new phase of his career on stage after his farewell to Sapucaí at the 2025 Carnival. This Friday (4), he presents at Teatro Rival Petrobras, in Cinelândia, in Rio de Janeiro, the unprecedented show "Neguinho da Beija-Flor sings his story." The show's proposal is to open the sambista's treasure chest of memories, going beyond the hits already known to the public.
Throughout the performance, Neguinho sings approximately 45 songs and tells the stories behind each one. He narrates from the time they were composed to what they represented in his career, revealing how each song came about, what it caused, and how it resonated at the time. The artist himself highlights that it is the first time he has done something like this in his career, making it an unprecedented show in his trajectory.
