The Festas em Honra de Nossa Senhora da Natividade returned to Largo Rossio da Fonte, near the Chapel, in Mem Martins, between September 3 and 6, 2019, under the motto "Tradição, Fé e Alegria". The festivities took place over four days and included music, folklore, gastronomy and fellowship, combining the cultural and popular component with religious tradition.
The program started on Thursday, September 3, with the opening of the venue at 7:00 PM and musical entertainment featuring performances by LUZA, at 9:00 PM, and Rony Fuego, at 10:00 PM. On Friday, the evening began to the sound of DJ Jorge Morais, at 9:00 PM, followed by Miguel Azevedo, at 10:00 PM, and a dance by the Nelson & Nelson Duo, at midnight, at the Mem Martins Sport Clube.
Saturday, September 5, was dedicated to folklore, with the 39th Folklore Festival of Mem Martins taking place at 3:00 PM. In the evening, DJ Jorge Morais returned to the stage, at 9:00 PM, followed by the performance of the Nenamus, at 10:00 PM, and the Nelson & Nelson Duo again ensured the dance at midnight.
The central moment of the festivities happened on Sunday, September 6, with the celebration of the Outdoor Mass, at 4:00 PM, followed by the traditional procession in honor of Nossa Senhora da Natividade, which crossed several streets of the parish of Algueirão-Mem Martins. During the route, the sale of fogaças took place. The last day also included a dance with the Nelson & Nelson Duo, at 4:30 PM, the performance of DJ Jorge Morais, at 8:45 PM, and the concert of Sangue Ibérico e Banda, at 10:00 PM, which closed this year's edition.
