An anonymous complaint was sent to the president of the Assembly of the Republic through the Socialist Party, allegedly containing references to "persecutions and illegalities" practiced by Hugo Tavares, aide to the secretary-general of the Portuguese parliament.
The complaint reported situations of labor harassment and issues related to hirings in Parliament, and an internal investigation was carried out on the allegations presented.
However, the investigation was archived without the secretary-general or her aide Hugo Tavares having been heard by the auditor responsible for the investigation.
