The 28th São Paulo International Book Fair begins this Friday (4) and will occupy 86,000 square meters at Anhembi, representing a 28% expansion compared to the 2024 edition. The event brings together 269 exhibitors and offers nearly 3,500 hours of programming distributed across 11 themed spaces, including Market Talk, the Ideas Lounge, and Artists' Alley, dedicated to Brazilian comics, which is a novelty of this edition.
The theme of the event is "A festival of emotions." The Brazilian Book Chamber (CBL) and RX Brazil, organizers of the event, expect to receive up to 700,000 visitors. Among the 800 confirmed authors in the programming, the English writer Alice Oseman, author of the phenomenon "Heartstopper," and national best-sellers such as Raphael Montes, Socorro Acioli, and Itamar Vieira Junior stand out.
