Ílhavo City Council consults clubs and associations for the construction of sports policies

Diário de Aveiro3 September 2026 at 08:05

The Ílhavo City Council is carrying out a consultation process with the municipality's sports clubs and associations for the construction of local sports policies.

This initiative is part of the strategy defined by the municipal Executive, which prioritizes a sports policy based on three fundamental pillars: participation, proximity and transparency.

The process aims to gather contributions and listen to the entities operating in the municipality's sports sector, allowing for a more coordinated approach aligned with the community's real needs.

Through this consultation methodology, the local authority aims to ensure that decisions regarding sports reflect the expectations and concerns of the region's direct stakeholders.
