AgroSemana starts today in Póvoa de Varzim, Porto, with an edition dedicated to technology, precision and safe production. The event, which is a reference in the agricultural sector, expects to receive at least 85,000 visitors during its duration. The information was reported to the news agency Lua by the president of Agros, Idalino Leão, the organizing entity of the event. The focus on technology and precision reflects the growing trend of modernization in the Portuguese agricultural sector, which is increasingly seeking innovative solutions to increase the efficiency and sustainability of production. This edition of AgroSemana positions itself as a meeting space between producers, technology companies and sector professionals, where the latest innovations in precision agriculture and food safety will be presented.

The textile and clothing industry in Portugal represents 1.7% of GDP, 7.8% of exports, and employs more than 118,000 people in nearly 12,000 companies, mostly SMEs.
