Lack of students closes six master's programs

The University of Madeira decided to close six master's programs due to lack of students. The courses had 79 available spots, but only 20 enrollments were made. The institution chose not to open a second application phase, although the programs maintain their accreditation.

The Funchal City Council took measures to support students, increasing scholarships by 20%. The Regional Government also expanded the number of beneficiaries of these support programs.
