The week of September 3-9 in Rio de Janeiro brings a rich programming for theater and dance lovers. Among the highlights are Fernanda Montenegro in a dramatic reading of Nelson Rodrigues, an adaptation of a short story by Clarice Lispector by Teatro Oficina, the classic "Revolution in South America" by Augusto Boal, and a play that remembers the career of actress Berta Loran.

Fafá de Belém opens the Amir Haddad Theater Festival with a free show in Lapa, integrating the programming of acclaimed plays. The play "Good Night, Mother" starring Ana Beatriz Nogueira and Andréia Horta also deserves attention, being an award-winning play that addresses the mother-daughter relationship.

At the Sérgio Porto Municipal Cultural Space, in Humaitá, the play "Still Going to Dream It All Over Again" reflects on motherhood, with Julia Lindenberg portraying a woman on the day of her grandmother's death. Directed by Liliane Rovaris, it features a guest artist at each performance. The revival is scheduled for Friday (4), with performances from Friday to Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7pm, priced at R$60, recommended for ages 14 and up, running until September 20.
