The president of APORMOR — Association of Rural World Producers, Joaquim Manuel Capoulas, considered that Expomor reinforces the position of Montemor-o-Novo as a national and Iberian reference in extensive livestock farming. In statements to the newspaper ODigital.pt, within the scope of the Fair of Luz/Expomor 2026, the official classified the event as the largest and most important initiative in the sector. Joaquim Manuel Capoulas added that the event contributes significantly to asserting the Alentejo region in the landscape of extensive livestock farming. Expomor took place in the context of the Fair of Luz/Expomor 2026, positioning Montemor-o-Novo as the national capital of this sector.
