The Chega party delivered a motion of censure to the Government regarding the maintenance of Luís Neves in a certain position. This motion arises in the context of a political dispute over the continuity of Luís Neves in his position.
The Socialist Party (PS) has stated that it will vote against the motion of censure presented by Chega, positioning itself alongside the Government on this issue.
According to parliamentary rules, the motion of censure must be debated within three days, which establishes a tight schedule for its discussion in the Assembly of the Republic.
This situation could lead Luís Montenegro, prime minister, to be present in the Assembly of the Republic on Monday, precisely on the eve of Luís Neves also going to parliament, this time to participate in a hearing before the Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.
