The MercuryVision Group is developing a new CHATRON industrial unit in Oliveira de Azeméis, with an initial investment of around 2.5 million euros that should reach 5 million euros over the next three years. This unit will allow increasing production capacity and accelerating the industrialization of proprietary solutions in the areas of natural lighting, ventilation, smoke extraction, energy efficiency and building sustainability.
The project should create around 15 highly qualified jobs, especially in technical, engineering and industrial specialization areas. With more than 60% of production destined for export and presence in more than 15 countries, CHATRON intends to use the new industrial capacity to strengthen competitiveness and accelerate the international expansion of solutions developed in Portugal.
