Now it's official: Richard Ríos heads to Al Ittihad on loan from Benfica

Benfica made official the transfer of Richard Ríos to Al Ittihad on loan. The Colombian player thus leaves the Portuguese club after one season.

At the beginning of last season, Benfica invested 27 million euros to acquire the player's registration from Palmeiras. Richard Ríos was tied to the Lisbon club until June 2030.

With this loan operation, the Portuguese club manages to free up space on the wage bill while the player seeks more playing time in another league. The financial details of the loan were not disclosed.

Decision day at the Biosfera Tournament

FC Castrense and Desportivo da Sete will face off on Thursday in the grand final of the sixth edition of the Biosfera Tournament, organized by the Castro Verde City Council, at Campo António José Marques, in Entradas, at 9:30 PM. Before that, at 8:00 PM, Entradense and FC São Marcos will play for third place. In Tuesday's semi-finals, FC Castrense thrashed Entradense 6-1 and Desportivo da Sete beat FC São Marcos 1-0.
