Águas do Alto Alentejo Applies for 9.4 Million Euros to Renew Networks and Infrastructure

Águas do Alto Alentejo (AAA) submitted applications to Portugal 2030 worth approximately 9.4 million euros between January and August this year. The funds are intended for the creation, renovation and modernization of water supply and sanitation networks and infrastructure.

The interventions cover the ten municipalities that make up the intermunicipal company. The investment continues previous AAA investments in improving the water and sanitation systems of the region.

Águas do Alto Alentejo is an intermunicipal company responsible for managing water and sanitation services in the Alto Alentejo region. Portugal 2030 is the current EU cohesion policy framework that finances development projects in Portugal.
