Singer Simone Mendes is the target of a lawsuit filed by guitarist Léo Stuart, member of the band Tihuana, who is seeking R$ 1.3 million in compensation. The lawsuit was filed by Black Diamond Holding, a company represented by the musician, and is pending in court.
The incident occurred on November 6, 2024, during a period of heavy rains, in a condominium located in Barueri, in Greater São Paulo. On that occasion, structures between properties gave way, causing the collapse of a wall related to construction work carried out on Simone Mendes' property.
As a consequence of the collapse, water, mud, and debris invaded Léo Stuart's property, causing damage to the outdoor areas and ground floor of the location. The episode is directly linked to the construction carried out on the singer's property.
The guitarist is seeking compensation for material damages, reconstruction of the affected structures, and R$ 1 million for moral damages. The lawsuit is still pending and there is no court decision on the case.
