Two Palestinians, aged 16 and 19, were shot dead during an attack by Israeli settlers in the town of Al Mughayir, near Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the deaths and stated that the attack involved settlers accompanied by Israeli forces.
The Palestinian Red Crescent explained that one of the victims was shot in the neck during the attack and was transported to the hospital while receiving resuscitation maneuvers. The other young man was shot in the back during the same incident.
Israeli settlers are frequently accompanied by Israeli military forces during incursions into occupied Palestinian territory. The West Bank has been the scene of recurring violence between Israeli settlers and Palestinians, especially since the beginning of the war in Gaza in October 2023.
