Midfielder Richard Ríos will represent Al Ittihad in the 2026/27 season, on a loan that takes him away from Benfica during the next sporting period.
The deal was made official by Benfica and involves a temporary transfer to Saudi Arabia, where the South American player will compete in the local league.
The operation does not include any purchase option, which means Ríos should return to Benfica at the end of the 2026/27 season.
With this decision, the Portuguese club frees up space in the salary structure and gives the player the opportunity to gain international experience before returning to the red and white universe.
