The deputies of Chega/Açores sent a request to the Regional Government of the Azores to request clarification on the expropriations carried out as part of the construction of the link between Vitorino Nemésio avenue and the Angra do Heroísmo Bypass, on Terceira island.
The party wants to know how many owners were affected by these expropriations, the total area expropriated, how much money has already been paid to the owners, and how much value still remains to be paid.
The work in question aims to create a new road link in the city of Angra do Heroísmo, connecting two important roads in the municipality. The request was presented by the parliamentarians of Chega/Açores as a way to obtain transparency on the costs and impacts of the expropriations associated with this infrastructure project.
