Madrid is preparing to host the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix in September, on a temporary circuit designated as "Madring". The race will take place in the Spanish city and represents a major sporting event.
The project faces growing opposition from the local population. The main complaints are related to excessive noise, exceeding 100 decibels, which affects residents in the area.
In addition to the noise problem, the construction of the circuit involved the felling of 700 trees in the surrounding area. This environmental decision has been strongly criticized by organizations and citizens.
The impact on families is also significant, with several families being displaced from their homes to allow the event to take place. This situation has increased public opposition to holding the Grand Prix in Madrid.
