The Spanish vessel 'Sorcery', captained by Antonio Luis Hernandez Machado, won the 24th edition of the Canary Islands-Madeira International Race, setting a new race record.
The crossing was marked by the absolute dominance of Spanish participants throughout the competition.
'Sorcery' crossed the finish line in the bay of the parish of Caniço, in the Madeira archipelago, after traveling approximately 263 nautical miles across the Atlantic Ocean.
The victory of the Spanish vessel crowned a historic edition of the race, which was marked by the achievement of a new record by the participants from Spain.
