Kiev to introduce new air raid alert system amid Russian bombings

Kiev is set to introduce a new air raid alert system amid Russian bombings. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the measure through a social media post.

The new system will have two alert levels, red and yellow. Each level will be distinguished by different sound signals, allowing the population to quickly identify the type of threat in progress.

This decision comes in the context of continuous Russian bombings in Ukraine, which have forced authorities to reinforce civil protection measures and population alert systems.
