The Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar was discharged from hospital after undergoing surgery for a fracture in his left collarbone. The rider sustained the injury as a result of a fall during the Vuelta.
The operation proceeded without complications and the 25-year-old rider is now in recovery. Information indicates that Pogacar left the hospital after the surgical procedure.
This is not the first time Pogacar has faced physical problems at the Vuelta. The Slovenian, who is considered one of the best cyclists in the world today, had to deal with this setback during the Spanish competition.
The fracture in his left collarbone required the cyclist to undergo surgery, but doctors considered the operation successful, allowing his discharge from hospital in a short space of time.
