Madrid hosted this Wednesday a vast demonstration in defense of Ceuta and against Pedro Sánchez. Thousands of people, around 50,000 according to the Government Delegation, filled Cibeles square, the beginning of Gran Vía and the sidewalks of Prado and Recoletos to show their support for the autonomous city and express their repudiation of the Government's management.
The event had been called by the Madrid City Council as an institutional solidarity event with Ceuta, but ended up turning into a massive demonstration against the Spanish Executive.
The crowd ended up shouting in unison: "We want to vote, we want to vote!", demanding the right to vote at the end of the gathering.
