Remo is running a campaign to prevent Flamengo fans from appearing as "infiltrators" in the sectors designated for the azulina supporters at Mangueirão. The Pará-based club faces Flamengo in the Brasileirão at 4 PM next Sunday (6). The action aims to ensure that only Remo fans occupy the stands and seats reserved for their supporters.
In a provocative post on Instagram, Remo stated that it will bar anyone from the stadium who fails to comply with the rule requiring the exclusive use of the club's shirt. "If you're supporting the Lion, wear the Lion's shirt. And be warned: anyone wearing a shirt from another club will be stopped at the turnstile and will not gain access to the stadium," the club declared. The same guideline applies to the visiting supporters, who must exclusively wear Flamengo shirts.
The motto "Remo's game, Remo's shirt" is not new for the Pará club, but against Flamengo it marks the first time Remo uses it in a Brazilian Championship match. The club emphasized that the rule will be applied regardless of the sector or side of the stadium, whether it's the stands or seats.
