The Development Societies will begin, in the coming days, a reinforcement intervention on the Praia Formosa – Socorridos Seafront Promenade. The intervention is located on the section next to Cimentos Madeira, where signs of pavement subsidence were identified.

The information was released by the Regional Secretary for Equipment and Infrastructures, which confirmed the need for the works. The intervention is preventive and temporary in nature, aiming to reduce the risks associated with a possible collapse of the suspended pavement.

The main objective is to create conditions so that the affected section can continue to operate safely, minimizing the dangers for users of the maritime area.
