Central defender Tomás Araújo has renewed his contract with Benfica, extending his link with the club until 2031. The young player, who was already tied to the Eagles (encarnados), saw his contract extended for another two years.
In addition to the contract extension, Tomás Araújo received a salary increase as part of the agreement. This renewal comes at a time when the player has been establishing himself in Benfica's first team.
The decision from the club refers directly to the central defender, who continues to be one of the promises of Portuguese football at the Eagles. With this new contract, Benfica secures the continuity of one of its young talents for the next decade.
