The Federation of Local Minor Entities has called for gatherings in support of Ceuta in all Spanish municipalities for this Wednesday, coinciding with Ceuta Day. The gatherings aim to show solidarity with the Spanish autonomous city amid the migratory crisis it is experiencing.
The Popular Party (PP) and Vox have made a call to participate in these demonstrations, showing their support for the initiative. For its part, the Government has considered that these gatherings have a partisan character, which has generated political controversy surrounding the call.
The images of the gatherings in different cities across Spain reflect citizen support for Ceuta during this day of solidarity. The migratory crisis has brought the situation of the autonomous city into focus, prompting this coordinated response at the municipal level.
