Torreense reached the second qualifying round of the Women's Euro Cup in football after eliminating the Ukrainian side Kolos Kovalivka. This is the Portuguese club's debut in women's continental competitions.
In the opening match of the first round, Torreense won comfortably at home 6-1. The return leg took place away, in Ukraine, and ended with a 3-1 victory for the Portuguese side.
With these results, Torreense achieved a total victory of 9-2 on aggregate over the two legs, securing passage to the next qualifying round.
Kolos Kovalivka, the Ukrainian team, were thus eliminated from the European competition after these two matches.
