Judge Santiago Pedraz of the Audiencia Nacional continues to advance in the different derivations of the so-called Leire Díez case about the alleged plot led to frustrate judicial proceedings open against the Government of Pedro Sánchez. In one of his latest resolutions, the judge addresses a request for evidence regarding the imputation of the former lawyer of the former ministerial advisor Koldo García.

This woman is suspected of having offered money to Carmen Pano, the businesswoman who claimed to have taken 90,000 euros to the national headquarters of the PSOE on Ferraz street in Madrid. Supposedly, the money offer was intended to get Pano to modify her statement in the trial that was taking place against her client at the Supreme Court.

Judge Pedraz asked Carmen Pano's driver to hand over the WhatsApp messages that can incriminate Koldo García's lawyer. These communications would be relevant evidence to determine whether there was effectively an attempt at bribery or witness manipulation in the context of this process.
