The Chega party advanced with a motion of censure against the Government. This decision comes in a context of political tension between the party and the executive.

The leader of Chega, Ventura, considered that keeping Luís Neves in the Government weakens Prime Minister Montenegro's authority. Ventura also believes that Seguro intends the removal of the Minister of Internal Administration (MAI).

Regarding another matter, the Public Prosecutor's Office expects to close the inquiry into the Glória Elevator by March 2027.
