Torres reiterates that the police director denies Morocco's planning of what happened in Ceuta

Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory of the Government of Spain, Ángel Víctor Torres, appeared at a press conference this Wednesday after presiding over the Specialized Situation Committee meeting in Ceuta. Torres reiterated that the police director told Grande-Marlaska that "no police report attributes to Moroccan security forces the planning of what happened on July 30 and 31 in the autonomous city." Ceuta was the venue for this specialized committee, which met to analyze the situation following the incidents on those two days. The official stressed that, according to police information, there is no evidence that the Moroccan authorities planned the events that occurred at the Spanish border during those days. This statement comes in a context of tensions between Spain and Morocco, after the events that marked the end of July in Ceuta.
