Bruno Andrade claims foreign club has been saving Benfica: "It's a firefighter"

Dodi Lukebakio could still leave Benfica during this transfer window. The Belgian winger arrived at the Club da Luz just a year ago, but he is on Besiktas's wish list, with the Turkish club intending to sign him permanently.

Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade commented on the possible transfer on a CNN Portugal program, stating that the Turkish club has been something of a "firefighter" for Benfica. According to the journalist, Besiktas has been practically a lifeline for Portuguese football clubs, especially for Benfica in recent years.

Bruno Andrade recalled the good relationship between the two clubs, citing previous transfers such as those of Rafa, Gedson Fernandes, the loan of Jurasek, and the sale of Kokçu, who left for a value higher than what Benfica had paid for the player.

According to information from French newspaper L'Équipe, the Turks would be willing to enter negotiations for the Belgian player.
