The governor of São Paulo and candidate for reelection, Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicanos), stated on Wednesday (2) that he is in favor of all possible investigations into people who have or had relations with former banker Daniel Vorcaro, imprisoned since March of this year. He was questioned during a campaign event in the East Zone of São Paulo, the day after the leak of conversations between Vorcaro and Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF).
Tarcisio declared that the highest court in the country is under suspicion, classifying the situation as very serious and dangerous. He mentioned that public indignation is being perceived, including in press coverage and editorials.
The governor expressed concern about the population's confidence in the Judiciary and the highest court in the country, warning of a possible crack in institutionality and the State.
