The banker Daniel Vorcaro, who has been imprisoned since March, gave testimony last week not only to the Federal Police, but also to the office of the minister of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) André Mendonça. The testimony was conducted with the Federal Public Ministry, but without the participation of the Federal Police.
André Mendonça is the rapporteur of the case investigating fraud at Banco Master. The minister leads the investigations into the alleged irregularities at the financial institution.
The case involves alleged fraud at Banco Master, which is being investigated both by the Federal Police and at the STF. Vorcaro's testimony to the minister's office is part of the ongoing investigations into the case.
