Piauí and Maranhão will have a unified system to register cases of violence against women

The Public Ministry of Piauí will cede the Pro-Woman system to the Public Ministry of Maranhão. The agreement allows the two states to share data and better organize care for women victims of violence.

The Pro-Woman system is a tool used to register cases of violence against women. With the unification, Maranhão will have access to the same platform already used in Piauí.

The partnership seeks to improve follow-up of victims and facilitate the exchange of information between the two states. The goal is to offer more efficient and integrated care to women who suffer violence.

With the unified system, the investigation and prosecution agencies of both states will have a more complete view of the cases, assisting in actions to combat gender-based violence.
