Castellón will have five more judges in 2027 to relieve the overload of the courts but the Council claims more resources from the Ministry

El Periódico Mediterráneo - General2 September 2026 at 16:09

The courts of the judicial district of Castellón will have five additional judges from June 2027, with the aim of relieving the workload overload that the judicial bodies currently face.

The councilor of Justice, Transparency and Participation, Nuria Martínez, announced that three of the new positions will be destined for the civil section, one for the court of first instance and another for the commercial court.

Despite this approval, the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Council, claims from the Ministry of Justice the attribution of more resources to face the needs of justice in the region.
