The parish of Roriz now has a Citizen Space, a new proximity service that aims to strengthen the services available to citizens in that area of the municipality of Barcelos. The new space was inaugurated on Saturday, August 29, at a ceremony that was attended by the main local authorities.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the president of the Barcelos Municipal Council, Mário Constantino Lopes, and the president of the Roriz Parish Council, Filipe Mendes, who were present at this important moment for the local community.
With the opening of this new Citizen Space, residents of Roriz now have access to a variety of administrative services and proximity care, without needing to travel to the city centre of Barcelos. This initiative is part of a decentralisation strategy for public services.
