The writer and psychologist Augusto Cury, candidate of Avante for President, jumped to 10% of voting intentions in the Quaest poll released on Wednesday, taking sole third place in the race for the Presidential Palace.

In the poll, Lula (PT) leads with 37%, followed by Bolsonaro (PL) with 30%. With the advance in voting intentions, Cury published a video on social media in which he positions himself as an alternative to the other candidates, stating he is the only one capable of "helping Brazil start listening to itself again, to think and to put the country above this endless war." He reinforces that he doesn't want to be "one more side."

In the video, a couple of actors interacts with a board displaying images of Lula, Bolsonaro and Pablo Marçal (PRTB), connected by wires. The "husband" in the scene questions whether, for the first time, "Brazil doesn't want the same old thing anymore," asking if the right and left can vote for the same person. At the center of the board, Augusto Cury's photo appears.
