The 24th International Canaries-Madeira Regatta is approaching its end after the starting signal was given yesterday in the bay of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on the Spanish island of Tenerife. More than 24 hours have already passed since the start of the competition.

The Spanish vessel "Sorcery" leads the fleet of 30 teams registered for this international regatta. The team is getting closer and closer to completing the course to the finish line.

The finish line of the competition is set up on the south coast of the island of Madeira, in the vicinity of the parish of Caniço. The regatta has been favored by good wind conditions, which have allowed a steady progression of the participating vessels.

Good news! Marco Silva receives reinforcement from the squad in Benfica training

The start of the current season has been quite troubled for the 30-year-old midfielder, who before the joint injury had already overcome a minor muscular myalgia and an acute case of gastroenteritis. Aursnes has only accumulated six minutes of playing time this season, all in the European victory against the Danes at the Estádio da Luz, where he was met with warm applause from the fans.
