Portalegre: PS alerts to the impact of changes in oncology and demands transparency

The District Federation of Portalegre of the Socialist Party expressed this Wednesday "deep concern" regarding news regarding a possible restructuring and change of coordination in the oncology service of the Local Health Unit (ULS) of Alto Alentejo.

The party alerts to the impact that these changes may have on patients and health professionals in the region. The PS calls for transparency on the part of the ULS of Alto Alentejo in communicating about any changes in the service.

The alert comes following information that has been circulating about a possible reorganization of the oncology service at the health unit. The party recalls the importance of access to specialized healthcare for the population of Alto Alentejo.
