The president of APA, José Pimenta Machado, considered that the "Volta" programme had significant uptake until August. However, he acknowledged that there are still challenges to overcome in various areas.

According to José Pimenta Machado, 242.6 million packages have already been collected through the Deposit and Return System (DRS) as part of this programme.

The president of APA acknowledges difficulties in areas such as retail and the HORECA sector, as well as in informal collection, indicating that these are areas that need additional work to ensure the success of the system.
